Simple question

I heard from many people that along with the big observer mode/guild storage update they are going to add dwarves and rogues as playable characers. Is this true?

I'm pretty sure that's complete bullshit.

adding other playing modes would mean they need to create new skins/graphics for alot of things. i doubt this would be done in a free update. xpansion, maybe. free update, no.

not to mention a hole host of problems involiving the number of players you can have ($#%$), and people deleting characters for these new 'modes'.

AND this would mean about 5 different armor sets, ascension armor, and fissure armor graphics which took the team long enough to make for characters already available since day 1.

(i still think they were really cheap with almost all the characters... only warriors get different armor in forge, everyone else has to shell out 15k for a new look)

I think it would be awesome to play other races. However, I seriously doubt that it'll be in the update, but maybe in the expansion. Possibly.

i have not herd on the website of this expansion or anything and i read a lot so i dont think they r going to do it.

Yeah I didnt think it was true but I was hopin for my dwarf . Cant wait till the expansion.

If they add dwarves they'd have to add other races, maybe like Krytans? Not enough diversity to go into something like WoW. And it could screw up the story line, with dwarves starting out in Ascalon City. Just doesn't make sense. However, I am hoping for another melee class. Tired of having to make a Warrior to fight up-close and personal.

i dunno cause like everquest which is a totally different game has a lot of different races so who knows
