Some things need fixing since it's hard to account for everything before game is mass-released.
If you only wanted to hear answers similar to yours, then do a petition or something.
On an amusement level, I like it when they fix things or make things harder so you can't solo as easily. I get a smile just picturing all the lame whiners out there screaming in anguish.

Nerfing is being lazy plain and simple.
Why does Anet nerf anything? Because someone is abusing something or other. Instead of thinking about the problem and coming up with a real solution they just whip out the nerf bat and go to town.
Farmers becoming uber rich? Change up the mobs a bit. Put a necro or a mesmer in there and that's the end of that particular exploit.
Ubermonk 55? Strip enchantment, spirit shackles... end of that particular exploit.
Uber Pali with Cyclone? Chillblains, empathy... buh-bye!
That's too hard, though. Better to screw everyone than to actually think of a specific solution to a particular problem.
