Ok, no one wanted to answer my price check. I don't really know what this bow is worth (if anything). I think it's fairly good. I don't have any rangers, so I'm not sure how valuable this is anymore.

Can the mods do something about people who claim they run an auction when really it is no such thing? It's unfair to everyone who wants to buy.
1) Auctions don't have buyouts.
2) If there are these 'buyout' options, can't we know about them?
If this auction hadn't have been closed early I would have had the highest bid, why do I have to waste my time bidding on peoples items in 'auctions' which they then won't sell to the highest bidder.
This seller has told everyone they are running an auction and how you are naieve about selling items and don't want to be hassled with in game offers etc. I have the courtesy to respect their wishes, but they don't even respect their own trade rules.
I'm sure this person is apreciative of our bidding, we've been bumping their post up for 3 days on false pretences. This isn't allowed to happen on ebay, and it isn't allowed to happen on rpgtraders, and it isn't allowed to happen in real auction houses.

Well, thing is, its happened so many times and the people who complain are guilty of doing these themselves one time or another. So honestly, if you dont like to be outbidded, then bid high from the start.
Same thing happened w/ this guy for the chaos axe I was selling, he was so pissed I sold it for b'o price when he said I he could've offered higher, then during the time I was selling it, he was offering below the b'o, seriously, I find these types of people a waste of time.

This isn't a game, it's a trade forum, and this seller is wasting my time which I could have better spent actually playing the game, working, or anything else rather than participating in this sham of an 'auction'. I log in especially to place my bid before the auction timer is up and the items has already been magically sold, no chance to bid higher given, how exactly was I suppose to win this 'auction'? I damn well wouldn't be happy if I turned up at Sotherby's to bid on an item and the same thing happened and I'm not happy here.

If you post an auction we have rules that you must abid by. This is not YOUR site. Don't abid by the rules and you will be punished.

If you get offers in game you must post those before selling. It is unfair to sell an item out from under someone without giving them a chance to outbid. Thats just bad manners. Fondie has every right to be upset.
Do I care that he sold the bow in game? No, but I'm sure other people who were bidding do. Can he sell the bow in game if he wants? Yes, but he will not be allowed to use THIS site to post trades anymore.
