Very odd event w/ enemy warrior in arena

i was in the arena that u go to from lions arch, me (w/mo) and a (mo/me) (e/me) and a (R/e) was fighting a group of 4 (w/e) (me/mo)(n/mo) and a (r/me). In the beginning we were pwning, killing the spellcasters and the ranger, then focusing on the warrior, but he barely took any damage. 4 of us focus fired on the warrior but he barely took only like 1/10 health dmg. its strange, i used a galrath slash on that warrior and dealt 37 dmg, but the warrior's health bar did not move at all. Eventually we gave up trying and just left because we couldnt just hurt that guy. What happened???

Healing hands maybe, some spells actually GIVE health when you hit the enemy.
Did he cast anything or use any skills at all?

Did he have enchantments on? Mending and watchful spirit will give a health regen maximum of six, combined with something else, it would keep him topped up.

he said W/E the guy probably used Glyph of Power + 12 in Earth + Armor of Earth giving the dude 14 in Earth Att boosting said armor even more from what it shows his team had no Ench removal

it would help if you told us what skills you and your teammates were using

well, i was basically sword warrior+basic pally build, the monk was a heal/inspiration with drain enchant ranger was a degen person, with poison arrow/gale(hunters shot) and enervating the ele was a fire nuker. Also he wasnt mending or anything, he was a w/e and he didnt have mch dmg reduction spells, as i said earlier he took 34 dmg and his life bar didnt move at all.

heh s'all good and ya degen is the only thing other than ench rending that kills me we i got earth hammer for pvp lol its a funny lil trick in the comp arenas just toss up glyph and throw down armor...i think @ 14 earth its what 56 extra armor vs all dmg and only -16% speed? or something i might be off but lol its a fun trick for new players

was there a fertile season or 2 on the ground?

if you can not kill simple nodamage tanks or nodamage runners somethins is seriously wrong with your build.

considering both the e/me and r/e couldn't kill him either... and not much buff...

it is possible he use defy pain and endure pain of the sort... along with doyalk signet.

I guess that e/me wasnt a pure dmg type... and neither was the r/e

What exactly is your problem? No matter where someone has to read your nonsense posts you're allways stating "You are bullshit, I'm so much superior". And... what is coming after that? Nothing. You're not even backing your "arguments" up. So what exactly is your problem? You might want to meet a doctor, modern medicine can do a lot about it for sure.
Or you might enlighten us mister uber, how to setup your TEAM to counter specific builds in the RANDOM Arena. Now what? I'm waiting. Still no reply, and no reply ever coming. But if one is coming, i'm quite sure it will include the words "noob" "i'm superior" and "you are crap" in one word or another.
Sometimes in the Random Arenas you just won't be able to counter a specific build no matter how hard you try. Why? Because of the randomness. And it is no fault of your single build, but a valid defeat due to the random teams there.
But i'm quite sure mister uber has a character that can just counter EVERYTHING and still do UBER DAMAGE and not to forget, can HEAL like a god at the same time and is basically invulnerable to anyone attacking... even to enchantment removal as he won't use enchantments for that...

it does get old with some. I've tried not to sound like a total a$$ anymore. I'm more about support and concepts now rather then the flame war. But I had noticed an increase in this kind of posting again.

That being said . It could also be possible this was a droknar runner that was using max AL armor in the >10 arena. this is a all to common occurrence. I'm not one to care one way or the other if you have better armor for missions in PvE, but when it comes to PvP in a low level arena. that's a real problem and NEEDS to be addressed. In effect these arenas are being over run by droknar runners just to dominate the arena for god knows why.

Its not like your getting anything other then being a bully for it in those arenas. Try that in lions arch and at least its a fair competition. other wise its like trying to beat on a brick wall.

All I can say is I feel for you, and here's to hoping once you get to lions arch you will feel more comfortable with PvP. some will never understand that the whole point of the low level arenas is to attract new players to that aspect of the game. but instead, Just like Tomb of primeval kings (HoH) the new players are being bullied out of PvP because they are not high enough rank or lucky enough to cheat with higher then normal armor in a area it should not be possible to have.

this reminds me of the time i was fighting a w/me who was using doyalk signet, desperation blow, healing signet repeatedly and nothing else. my team had 2 eles one was air and other was earth and 1 monk and ranger couldnt kill him for 10 min....all my damages were 1 2 2 1

It's not all that hard to get immune to physical damage - Draknor armor, gladiators & bonettis stances + armor of earth @ 12 + healing signet and an enemy sword warrior can pummel you till the cows come home.

A guy like that needs to be DoT'ed/interrupted. Your necro should've been able to make his life miserable.

As for the bar not moving... if he used I Will Survive & if there was any other player on his team alive, or some spirits on the ground, he may have had health in the region of 1000. If he had, 35 damage equals 3% health drop, hardly a blip.

The implied question here is if the warrior was using a hack. Most likely not, or we'd see invulnerable naked people ganking and bragging about how noone can kill them in every dang arena. Things like that spread quick.

well, unrealistically, ive seen a lv3 in the lv10 or lower in the arena wearing a set of 15k platemail armor...

Mist form + Armor of mist ?
Hmm no you wouldnt get any dmg numbers with that...

Today in PvP we had the same thing, a Warrior and an Ele using Armor of Earth and others (not sure) and even with 4 people hacking on them they just stood still and never dropped below half. And while that was going on someone was doing the same thing while attacking the Priest, and I think the priest uses Heal Area so that only heaped him more.

I put this down to our team being mostly melee attackers though. If we had some good Hexes I assume that can be broken.

or ench removal......all you need is to remove it once

or armor negate atks ex(monk smiters, obsidian flame)
