Mixing Dye?

To mix dye do I click 1 dye into another then onto the item or dye the item with 1 color then the next? thank you

Best way is to double click one dye, then click on the dye you want to mix it with. If you're wondering about what colors you can make and special dye circumstances, here is a good thread about it.
