I am a Warrior/Monk. Some good things, from my understanding, can come out of this combo. There has to be some sort of site to find more class combos.

Yeah there are tons of great combinations. You will hear and see a ton of people playing some combination of Warrior/Monk or Monk/Warrior. Seems everyone is doing that. It is effective but I would recommend doing something that appeals to you instead of what other people say is the "cool combo".

Just have fun.

Ill list them by primary - secondary. This is just IMHO, and is based on primary abilities and some of the attributes.

Warrior - anything

Ranger - Warrior, Monk

Monk - Warrior, Necro, Mesmer

Mesmer - anything

Necro - mesmer, ranger

elementalist - monk, necro, mesmer

Once upon a time..

You need to do quests in order to obtain the secondary professions. Please read the guides in the New Students Center as well as *all* of the FAQs that are stickied.

As for the original poster's question, there is no best class combinations in GW. It all depends on what you want to do with the character; do you want disruption? Caster-hate? Nuker? Healer? Tanker?

Please take a look at the strategy forums (The Campfire) for some examples and discussions on specific builds.
