Very Serious question about salvaging

I worked my ass off getting drokes armor for my ranger. But now I have created a Necro, and I like it 5x better than my ranger. So I was wondering if I expert salvadge the ranger armor, will I get all my materials back? (the necro armor requires the exact same supplys as the ranger armor) cause if i do this, all I have to do Is get 7.5k. Plz answer quickly because I am seriously considering it.

No. If the armor has a rune, you might get that, or you will just get some of the materials.

so there is no guarantee? If I exp. salvadged the boots, I woldent get back 25 Tanned hides and 4 Steel Ignots, I would only get a few of each?

if you have runes on it, you'll probably get the runes...but if you have a helm that required, say, 25 iron ingots and 5 steel ingots, and even if you dont have a rune on it, theres still no guarantee that you'd get iron or steel.

Actually, you would only get a few of one or the other. Think of it like any regular armor salvage from a creature. My advice: don't do it.

...this isoundling like a worse Idea the more I think about it. I really want drokes armor for my lvl 11 necro, but...I dont really want to do it if I have to buy my materals all over again. I currently have 0g..seriously. I paid the guy 494g to run me to drokes, since that was all I had...

Man, I've always gotten my runes back, and the other day I went to salvage my runes from my old armor and only got one out of four!

Why would you salvage. The point is to have multiple characters.
