Solo Build in PvP

ok,
i honestly solo uw a lot, and love it. its fun, its something to do while waiting to go somewhere. however, solo farmers should NOT attempt PvP, it takes the fun out of it.

this is a true story,

<PUG Player 1> wtf? im doing 2 damage to them
<Me> omg...
*uses Nature's Renewal*
*Uses Hundred Blades ONE time*
*whole team dies*

please monk farmers, stay out of PvP.

Yeah, there really are alot of invincimonks in the arenas. Strip an enchantment off of them and they cry.

with the nr nerf that'll change a bit

but not enough to make it a viable build in pvp

The 105/55 Monks just stand there and do nothing of interest while you kill off their team, then you flatten them by picking off enchantments. Pretty simple, really. It'll beat awful teams, but when was that the goal?

In the random arenas, however, most people lack any type of enchantment removal making you an essentially invincible target. Beyond the random arena is another story.

Actually of the two times I took my farming monk into the the random arenas for a laugh my enchantments were stripped within the first minute. First time was by an enemy necro and second time was by a ranger on my own team who realised I was a 105 but stuck NR down anyway.

I would have done the same if I were him.

Dammit I played a dozen matches today but didn't face a single 105. I was so looking forward to one-shot-kills with my mesmer.

Heh met one of those only one left on the enemy team playing random arenas before this build was as insanely popular as it grew to be..

Yeah it took about 10 minutes of time as none of us were strip spec'd, but he thought he was wasting ours for the win - better when we killed him, got the faction and could continue on as a team and he wasted HIS time.
