It's important to base expectations on Guild Wars, not on other games. Guild Wars was designed to have a PvE element that could stand alone, or open up possibilities for the PVP. And GW was designed to have as little grind as possible while still utilizing the PvE. GW also has a level cap of 20. So, a reward for leveling where grind and leveling is supposed to be minimalized really doesn't make too much sense. As it has been said, there is some inherent benefits to levelling, and it happens naturally as you progress through the game, but no special recognition for any uber level attained.
