Video Card Problem
Scott2k5
The game runs REALLY bad for me because of my video card. The VC came with my computer. It's a S3 Graphics ProSavageDDr... Is there anyway I can get GW to run properly without buying a video card? If not, which cheap video card can I buy so I can get GW to work? Thanks.

I would defentily get a new video card. Sorry to bust your bubble but the cheaper the card is the more crappy it is. You can get a half decent card for around 100 dollars. Make sure the video card is DX9 compatiable and has 128mb of memory or higher.

your graphics card falls below the minimum requirements. we need to know the rest of your pc specs in order to help you.

2.4 Ghz

you need to be a bit more specific. you can get a radeon 9200 or something along those lines for $50ish which will allow you to meet the recommended requirements. although if you do not have an AGP slot or a PCI express slot, your options are fairly limited..

would the old gForce 4 ti 4400 work it might be hard to find in PCI but as far as i knwo thats the last card in PCI production
Zyeox
They make some cards via the isa slot but those are rather slow too.

I believe the card you mentioned is a PCI card and not a ISA or AGP card. Your best bet would then be a 9200 PCI version, as Bgnome said above. It shouldn't be too expensive, probably about $70 but make sure you get the PCI version and NOT the AGP version unless you find out that your computer does infact have an AGP port.

If my comp has AGP 4X, can I buy a card that says AGP 4X/8X? Or could I buy the new PCI Express?

To be honest the new pci express is gonna do nothing for your cpu unless ur motherboard can handle pci express and even if it does it wont do all that much. I say stick to the agp port as it will save u money and buy at least a card with 128mb of ram and it is DX9 compatiable as it will run the game just fine. But u may need to upgrad your cpu but u really dont need to do all that right at the start. First thing is first buy a new video card.
cleric
odds are it will not support PCIe
if the card says 8/4 x agp itwill work with a 4x agp set

I think my Video card is:
Legacy Video Capture Devices, and I created a character, and while logging on it crashed and i can't get past that part. I own world of warcraft, this should run fine, i don't know what is wrong.
I have:
Dell Dimension 2400
Pentium IV 2.66 Ghz
640 Mb of Ram
Anyone know the problem? I know my video card sucks.

Check for cheap video cards that are DX9 compatible and at least 128MB VRAM. I suggest TigerDirect.com. They usually have a lot of decent cards for rock-bottom prices.
Scott2k5
Will I be able to play GW with this memory card?

Remember the price is CDN so it's inflated.

I got the ATI 9250. It was one of the few I could find on short notice that was both PCI and 256mb. Around 100 dollars USD. I out it in my HP--the only suggestrion is if you have an integrated vc like I do--the instructiosn said to delete the drivers but my PC kept finding it and installing the drivers which locked it up. So I jsut disabled it and it has run fine.
ON a sidenote--does anyone know how to delete the integrated video drivers AND prevent my PC from seeing it and auto installing it?
