was just in HOH 3 wins into it. After we beat the team and were standing around doing nothing...i got disconnected. Error 7 message appears. Its not like we were stressing/overloading the game. We were standing there waiting to go on to our next match.
Guys that didnt go LD still reported on Teamspeak that thier screens still showed we were in the game. Two guys went LD and others complained about lag.
I have a gig of ddr ram 2.5 intel chip , intel board a $500 graphics card. I cant understand how i went LD.
Is this happening to anyone else ?
Cant complete opperation ?

OK so if its just overloading of server due to PVP extreme weekend, i can live with that. Havent had so much fun since release. Looking forward to more special event weekends.

Lag got me bad trying to run to Beetletun & Bergon Hot Springs.. heh.. got there after dying a few times due to lag spikes ah wells.. btw, I ran myself.. didn't pay anyone

First thing you need to find out is if you have a stable connection.
Open a command prompt: Start. Run. Type in: cmd [Hit Enter]
In the DOS prompt box type: ipconfig /all
Write down your Default Gateway IP. (Probably something like 192.168.0.1)
At the prompt type: ping -t [put default gateway IP here] >c:\pingtest.txt
It will look like this: ping -t 192.168.0.1 >c:\pingtest.txt
Let this run for about 1 hour. You don't have to sit around the computer while it's doing this.
After an hour come back and hit [Ctrl + C] in the DOS prompt window to stop the test.
Now open My Computer double-click C: then double-click the pingtest file to open it.
Scroll through the file to see if there are any "No responses" or "timeouts". They should be easy to find because they do not look like the other longer lines. An extensive number of these timeouts will cause network problems and Err 7.
The above instructions will show if its an ISP related problem. If there are no timeouts it means it GW servers. Hope this helped.

uhh, pinging 192.168.0.1 won't accomplish anything. That address is typically your router as such all thats doing is testing the connection between your computer and your router. If thats bad, you'ld have noticed it long before now and is no indication that your ISP is having an issue

I dont use a router so that solution worked for me. It was just a suggestion to try and help people with that problem. If they do the test and there is timeouts, then they know for sure there is something wrong with the internet itself and not GW servers.
~edit~ BTW its not my idea, I researched error 7 on google and found that solution. I ran the test and there was timeouts. Thats why theres an ISP tech coming today
