What are the odds that I would be good friends with both of these women on the two sides of this most unusual of transactions? I mean, I know I'm popular, but still there are tens or hundreds of thousands of people playing Guild Wars on the weekends, right?
Epilogue: I asked the first friend if she wouldn't mind refunding some of the money from the subsequent sale of the ectos, because the other friend had made an error and not intended to sell them all for that price. The first was happy to oblige, and though she had spent some and given some to a guildie, she gave the remainder to my other friend. Very nice of them both.
