Question about skill points

After you ascend, i hear u can change ur secondary class. but im wondering, what happens to all those skill points you used to buy skills for your old secondary skill? do you just lose them? or do you get skill points back for all the secondary skills you previously had?

You "keep" all skills that you have learnt, you just can't use them as long as your secondary is of a different class.

so say you were a N/Mo and switched to a N/me at some point.. went and got a whole bunch of skills.. then decided to go back to N/Mo ... you'd find when you switched you'd still have all your Monk skills that you had gotten for that character still there.

As for the Skill Points - once used they are used. If you use them all and have 0 and then swap secondary professions you won't suddenly get anymore. To get more you'll need to "level" to get them again.

Also when you switch secondaries, go back to the beginning cities to acquire all the early skills from quests, rather than spending your precious skill points on them (Yaks, Sardelac, Serenity Temple, Ascalon).
