Is it worth ID'ing Gold max dmg weapons?

I was just wondering if it is worth ID'ing weapons and taking the risk of getting something good or selling them unID'd?

Also, how much are max dmg, unID'd, gold weapons worth? (like a req.12 axe^^, I found 2 the same)

If any of my toons can use the base item, then I go ahead and identify them. Anything else which my characters cannot immediately use get put up for auction.
