Whens a good time to make a build?
Serpreme
I was just wondering when anet will plan on having a final skill set? I mean..its no fun making a build then all of a sudden BAM they change 40 different skills...wasteful of time.

Well...I guess right after a major patch.

You did a poor job of disguising that complaint as a question.

well as with most games i guess people find out new ideas and strategies - i played ut99 assault for 5 years and we are still finding out stuff. sometimes the new strategies are extremely lame and need to be fixed, or they are ruining the gameplay or something along those lines. i dont think there will ever be a final skill set (not for a year or 2). thats my guess

By changed do you mean 'tweaked'? The skills are still the same. Besides it's essential to change your skills depending on the environment, team players (both PvP and PvE), opposition etc. etc.
Why stick with one build? Or are you talking farming here? ;-)

I'm starting to feel like I'm playing Magic the Gathering again. Where someone figures out a way to make something broken. It gets posted. A ton of copycats abuse the build. And the maufacturer has to step in and rectify the situation.
Only with Magic it helped, because of the PvP nature of the game. I haven't been playing Wars long, but it seems that Invinci-Monk is only really good for PvE solo farming. Am I wrong in this assumption?
I dunno, it seems that sometimes a little knowledge hurts rather than helps. One way for ANET to nip this in the bud is to reset the MAX cap to a way lower figure for all items.
Coming over from Elderscrolls, I thought it'd be fun to play something new that couldn't be abused too badly (Console Commands anyone?). At least with TES you only really hurt your own gameplay. I'm sure the latest updates are only a hiccup to you enterprising players. Maybe this time people will keep a good thing to themselves and not post the next uber build. And Anet would be none the wiser.
