No 3d sound?

is there a way to turn on 3d sound? Right now, my rear speakers aren't playing any sound at all. Most games at least let you feed the sound through all speakers, even if they don't support 3d sound specifically.

er, it has nothing to do with windows, but it seems Guild Wars has no 3d sound support, nor surround sound speaker support.

I mean, isn't there some way to tell windows to send all sound to all your speakers? In effect, emulate a 2 speaker system.
