The Noobs choice- What was ure 1st Char?

W/R can be good... some people choose it just for the troll ungent.

I was always into the Paladin style character, but when I got Guild Wars I wanted to try something totally different, so I went with a N/Me (The minions were the deciding factor... though i don't even use death magic anymore xD, and i liked how Mezes are described as uber manupilative, this also perks my interest.)

I still have her, she's my only charry that's ascended, but she's now a N/E, because I didn't like the Me part... (I do like messes, just didn't fit with my build.)

I now have a mesmer/necro because I noticed how annoying it is when u have loadsa conditions and hexes on u so i decided a dom/ curse char would be cool. My mesmer was my 4 char after deleting my ascended monk due to over reliance of other people.!!

My first char was a mes/el. I was able to fast cast fire nuke my way through the early game and respec to pure mesmer once I got to late game (armor ignoring nukes 4tw).

at first i hated mesmers as i could not see the point in something that wheres a mask as armour but I decided to try one and i realised how much the mesmer can control the battle field. if I join a HOH team with anything other than my mes i will always say get a domination mesmer!!!

I currently have a second character, level 13 Mesmer/Necro. She have 8 attribute point set on Domination magic, 5 on fast casting, and 6 on illusion (with help of some minor runes) I notice that whenever i fight huge group of enemies, i can quickly drain their health or use chaos storm than other team memebers can kill them in just matter of second.

I started off as a Nec/Warrior, thinking that I would be a blade wielding death master phenom.

Little did I know, the only thing that matters is skill, and N/W is a shitty combo. Unless you use Boenetti's alot... but who knows.

I still have my frist character from the beta days....N/Me she was a health degen...but I recently changed her to a N/Mo...and now she is a minion master...so far I like it...although I do miss my N/Me from time to time.

Yeh i'm makin a monk PvE now cos i decided to do some farmin so i may as well get the FoW armour for her

yeh i dont care i might make a duo of farmers with my freind so that we can make a really cool build where one smites and one protects as you could easily beet UW with 2 monx

For a while, I went Domination/Illusion (even back then, I didn't use many elementalist skills...), but then I realized I needed more energy. So I went Domination/Inspiration. With Fast Casting, of course.

When I was learning about the game, before I got it, I looked over all the professions and most of the skills. Mesmers seemed rather swift (fast casting), and they had some nice subtle skills, along with flat-out controlling ones (Power Block says NO!).

I disliked the idea of a paladin... [damn W/Mo] I wanted something that was anti-paladin. Something that was the polar opposite of a holy knight, a death night vampire!!!

Yes, my first Character was a Blood Magic W/N. Later on, I learned with the help of Sauleteus Rex and a number of old timers here [who I never hear from anymore ;_;] that it's just toooo expensive to heal damage away... Instead, why not REDUCE damage you eat?!

So now, I'm the HIGHLY EFFICIENT Gryphon farming Aataxe Tanking Cursed W/N. [who can devour chicken-shit self-healing W/Mos in pvp for breakfast...^_^]

Oh yeah...

edit* oh yeah, I've been playing since the World Preview Event last October so I've got a good feel for this game now I'd like to say...

i had like 4 chars, before i stuck to one, i kept on restarting and that, its good though, becuase i knew what to do ect ect.
