The Noobs choice- What was ure 1st Char?
quickmonty
R/Me Just thought being a Ranger sounded cool. Don't ask why i chose Mesmer as secondary.
Currently he's a R/Mo

Auntie I
My first character waaaaaay back at the beginning of the Beta's was a Ranger / Mesmer. It didn't last long as I discovered I liked the Mesmer side more than the Ranger side.
aismailuk
Aglaranna Sachs
R/W
She is my first character and I am still playing through the game with her. Just ascended - so getting there. By the time I make it to the fissure/underworld the update should be released... happy days!

Selerious
My first character was a R/W Selerious Victora, he was deleted just after getting to the frontier gate for ill use of a secondary and annoyance at how i was playing him, but not befor I got my E/R fire up and running and is now my main. How ever I did recrreate Selerious and he is now a R/Me.
Mandy Memory
Warrior/Monk, ever since the first beta....of course I made a very informed decision...and finished the game in well under a week
The milk shake
my first char was a r/n, i kinda liked the minions, but i also like the pet..., my ranger had a stupid name though..., it was Z O O M

Healer monk/me
Was a bit of a strange feeling when we finally got to areas where I could swap into healing completly instead of smiting and doing some damage... currently, I'm trying to learn prot. monk with her.
And strangely enough, it's only after my mesmer finished the dessert, that I suddenly had the revelation of how good mesmers really are, and how my monk's mesmer side can efficiently help in the healing process.

Cerra.nova
Started as a Warrior/Mesmer then when I got to the desert I switched to Monk secondary...
Banebow
I started playing a day after release, and on that day I created a Ranger/Monk called Harvester Banebow.
4 (or almost) months and 740 hours later, I still have that R/Mo, with about 313 hours on him. He has access to any secondary proffesion, but since I usualy PvE with him I enjoy carrying rebirth
I also have an ascended Me/E and an ascended Mo/Me (originaly Mo/Me), and used to have an ascended W/E (originaly W/Mo), but I had to remove him to free up a slot
Ah, if only the next chapter would come out...of course, if any new classes are in their it won't matter, as I would be trying one of them. Lets just hope for an additional slot eh?

Kool Pajamas
I started about a month after the game was released. My first Character was an E/Me. Eagce Rayole. I still have him.
My other long lasting character is my N/R, Deathal Razer. I was going for Beast Mastery, and Death magic so I could have all the critters do my work for me, but I realized that wasnt very good (or at least not for me). He is mostly Blood now with Death magic and Soul Reaping. When I first started him, I didnt even realize how good Soul Reaping was. I never used it. Now its my best friend.
My 3rd character is a W/Mo. Amor Dillo (supposed to be "Armor" but I misspelled it) I started him after I saw all those people running everywhere with their W/Mo's. I'm kinda bored with him, but I'm keeping him until I unlock all the Warrior and Monk skills.
I've had other characters that I've played around with. I had a level 20 Mo/N nearly ascended (Kool Pajamas) but I finally got sick of healing. Wish I would have kept him a while longer. I considered smiting, but nobody will party with a smiter monk in PvE.

Warrior/Mesmer for me. I could tank AND cast damaging hex spells! But then I found out later on that it wasn't too effective for me to be doing both (well, I started to suck). Still, I find that W/Me still has some of the versatility of the Mesmer, so I've never had too many problems with Monk or Mesmer bosses in PvE.
Chobby
first and only character ranger/necro, marksmanship and death magic
Seissor
Ranger/Monk, I have not tweaked them since. It's a powerful combo, I use smiting skills as well to make me a hard hitter. Also a r/mo with re-birth is everyones best friend.

N/E
I thought it was so l337. I deleted it recently :P

My first character was a w/mo. I played him thru the storyline to about lvl 15 and then I got really bored of him. I came from a fps background =P and it really sucked being overwhelmed by classes that I never understood could do such crazy degen/spells/etc dmg to me. I got really curious to the other professions and ended up building a N/Mes. The N/Mes is by far my most favorite character to play. It's just so underrated in so many ways.
On another note, by the time I got my N/ME to level 15 running got really popular so I revisited my W/MO. Now I have equally as much fun degenning as I do running people. Plus it's just great to be able to switch from playing a pure support role to a finisher.
My character under construction is currently a lvl 11 MO/W who's role is going to be to strictly heal. There's just not enough pure healers going around who are experienced with the game.

W/R FTW! Melee and ranged! Too bad it served no purpose whatsoever.
Fye Duron
My first was a Ranger/Necro... Expertise... Wilderness
Second was a Monk/Mes... Pure heal
Third is a Warror/Monk.... Melee....
No fourth yet.... but more then likely it will be a E/w or E/mo

my first charecter was named Monk of Doom, but he didnt make it to post searing, o I made my ranger that made it a little past the shiver peaks named Tanner Ogannon, now my new ranger is called Zoyamiranova Tilia, which made it to Auora Glade. But my current necro has made it to the place that you acend, and its name is Nanaki (something or other, cant remember)
Mhydrian
W/Mo of course
Chillin-N-Killin
W/MO add still playin him. He has gone throught alot of changes hammer, axe and now a sword warrior. Nice thing about GW unlike D2 you can change prof. around
sidepocket13
R/E i never ascended with him. switched to mo/me and like it much better!
Grigori Sokolov
Grigori Sokolov, Mo/W (now Mo/N)
if you are gonna make a monk, make a Mo/Me, Mo/E, or Mo/N. Anything else is just bad (unless you plan to solo uw, which is also just bad)
BTW hes like 500 hours old now so, yea. I made a Mo/W out of ignorance, not the wanting to solo uw, which I didnt even know about until after I beat the game.

tastes noobalicious
well my very first char was an elementalist ranger (i heard about pets and had to have one) i deleted him after i figured out that i went post searing without doing enough quests/getting skills to survive by myself without henchies outside ascalon city. Ah, the old noob days... But i think a good combo would be a monk ranger, cause everyone needs a healer and ranger traps kick. Plus there could be dual smite/trap runs in underworld...
Toral Xi
My first was a Me/Ele that I quit playing in the Piken Square area at level 12 because I wasn't skilled enough to really enjoy it. 2nd was a Wa/Ele that went through all the primary missions and quests and ascended. After ascension I went back to my Me/Ele and just ascended him last night. Now that I am more familiar with the game I really enjoy the Me/Ele (esp in PVP), even more so than my Wa/Ele. 3rd character is a Mo/N (enjoy so far but just in pre) and fourth will be a R/N or R/Me most likely.
Vhayr
My first character was a Necromancer, who I deleted before I got him a second proffession (right after I got the game, literally an hour or so), then I had a Necro/Mesmer up until Yak's Bend when I decided that the role I was playing wasn't right for me, then I made my Elementalist/Monk who is my main character right now, and today I created a Monk because I'm getting a little bored with my E/Mo.
The end.
The end.
Eriad Stormwaker
My first char was an E/Me which was a terrible choice and i didnt even bother to finish pre searing, then i got a R/N which was good and i got quite far with her but eventually i realised that she was super weak and i wasnt very good at ranger work.
Finally i started my most recent char a few weeks ago and its an E/Mo which works sooooo well i have really high energy (61) and my health isnt bad due to some fortitude and hale staff upgrades, my spells are good and i self heal to take some strain of the monks all together it works really well.
i am a pyromancer with ressurect and healing breeze basically and i love it, its great to know that you can self heal cause then your not trying to keep really far away from the battle cause your not sure that the monks will be able to heal you in time and resurrecting is helpful cause frankly res signet is good but the whole moral boost recharge thing is so bad.
