im really sick of this.. about 50% of the time the gold that is droped when i play is exactly 63 gold.. makes me want to explode!

Yes I have but I didn't want to say anything because I thought I was going crazy.

different areas drop different amounts, but i have noticed that in a certain area it is often the same number over and over.

Hmm interesting, I've never really paid (no pun intended ) much attention to that. I'll start watching it now.

There is remarkable consistency about the gold drops in certain areas. Perhaps it is a function of the level of the opponent? Rather than being bothered, you ought to try to work out the algorithm that Anet uses to calculate the drops. The consistency of odd numbers is a big clue . . .
