I have a Furious Flamberge of Fortitude.

15-22 damage (req 12)
+15% damage vs. Hexed Foes
Double Adrenaline on Hit (9%)
Health +29

Would I be better off trying to sell it as is or should I salvage it and hope I get one of the Upgrades?

(Oh, and just to give some objectivity on this, I have an offer of 25K for the sword just how it is. Not sure if I should take it or salvage anyway.)

I still want someone else's opinion. Anyone? Anyone? What would you do if it was your weapon?

This has been my regularly scheduled 24-Hour bump. Thank you.

I'd sell it... 25k for a 15 hexed, 12 req weapon is IMO a good offer.

Here is the formula with probabilities for your calculating pleasure: .33 (likelihood of extracting furious hilt) * 50K (value of furious hilt) + .33 (likelihood of extracting fortitude pommel) * 75K (value of fortitude pommel) + .33 (likelihood of getting iron or steel) * 1K (value of iron or steel) = 42K (what your reserve should be before selling the sword)

If you get an offer of 42K or more, sell the sword. If not, salvage and hope for the best, and deal with the process of selling the salvaged component.
