what are you looking for? i can add it to the exclude list so it isnt filtered out. unforunately for VB, searching for short words is very database intensive.

Very few forums will allow you to search for words with 3 characters or less.
Not sure if it's intended or not, although why it would exist if it weren't is a conundrum, is the wildcard symbol. Tag an * (asterisk) to the word you want to search for.
The last bbs I was on had that tip pop up whenever you tried to search for a 3 letter word.

the one downside of VBulletin and large forums like this one. Search will kill it, literally. sometimes you even have to offload the search functions to a seperate machine, imagine that a seperate machine for searching a forum? We'll be implementing a recommended Google Search for forums soon with a last resort Forum Search option, or disable Forum Search altogether.

Like using the [site:http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/] restriction in Google searches?
Or is that just as bad?
Can't say I've put much thought into how search engines operate, sadly >.<
