can u slap a mod, say "poisoners bowstring" on a bow that's already modded, like say "sundering flatbow of fortitude"? does it overwrite a mod if so?

yes any prefix overrides any other prefix, ( IE poisoner's will be replaced by sundering ) and any suffix will replace any other suffix ( IE of defense will override of fortitude).
