Energy +5 >50%, <50%

Just wondering if when you have an item that gives +5 energy when health is <50%, how the energy is added on, is it full?

i.e. I have 14/45 energy when my health dips below 50%. Will my energy levels jump to 19/49 or stay at 14 but the pool increases to 49?

Energy and pool increase by 5 so it should be 19/49.

Just as an extension to the question, if you have a +5 energy >50%, when your health drops below 50%, does you mana drop from say 19/49 to 14/44?

Correct on both counts. If you have 14/44 energy and a +5<50 wand, your energy will jump up to 19/49 when your health drops low enough. If you're using a +5>50 and your health drops below 50%, you lose both 5 max and current energy. Pretty simple really.
