Has anyone seen the Glint Teleporter Construction in Drokners Forge. Situated up near the faction Priests. I dont remember seeing it before.

Yeah, i've been wondering what its for as well , it appeared at about the same time as the bal's priests.
Could it be a teleporter to the summer update zones ?
Could it be the new entrance point from the pve game ending ? (instead of the ship)
Could it be a place where we just pray to the gods for that extra 1k gold we need. ^^

It might just be the teleport to Chapter 2 for already-beat-the-game players? I don't remember it ALWAYS being there...

Or it might be there to cause you to make speculations about what it is. This is a great tactic in determining what people sometimes want to be there. For example:
A new NPC appears in Lions Arch. When you click on him, he justs says "I'm working hard to bring you something special!" People will be on the forums in a heart beat posting "I hope he is going to sell X," or, "I hope he will be able to do Y."

yeah in lornars pass at the grenth thingy a grenth spirit has appeared (or whatever it is) (looks like a big smoke phantom) and gives some quotes about the new updates.

it has been there for a while now. and yes it seems to be a teleporter for the new areas. but we will find out for sure in a week or so

I love the non-traditional ways of 'press releases' and update forshadowing used in this game. I find the 'Oracle Frog' to be very amusing, and seeing a virtual construction (as opposed to it just appearing when complete) to be very cool as well.

The journey to Sorrow's furnace should in itself be a challenge... at least to the new town that you need to get to to get there...
Just teleport into the new area? Bah.
If so... one would hope ascension a requirement to teleport...

the press release uses the line "for ascended chatacters" that tells me that you must be ascended to use that teleporter. just like you you need to be ascended to get into UW and fissure you must also be ascended to get to these new areas.
wether the teleporter takes you directly to the new areas, or just to the "town" you need to get there i have no clue, but obviously they made it for a reason. it is not just window dressing

To get there you will have to be ascended. Else we will have lvl 5 players asking for runners to the new areas. A simple teleporter like the one in Augry rock (To ascend) seems the best option. Maybe a small token of gold to teleport will make a nice gold sink like UW/Fis
All will be come apparent on the 7th but the first place I will be checking is Drokners. As thats the last place we are transfered after killing the Litch on the Ring of Fire. Will make sense for the update to carry on from there. Why else would you end up back there at the end???

Mayhap that's where Glint teleports you in after you speak to her in the Dragon's Lair? It's been a while since I've done that mission, but I remember you land in Drok after there. Mayhap they put it in there recently as eye candy for her landing spot?

They put it there after an update a few months ago.. There was a thread about it on one of the forums, i forget which.
