Skills when changing professions

Forgive me if this has been answered before but what exactly happens to your skills when you switch professions? If you ever switch back to that profession will you still have all of your old skills? And also, if you switch professions, can you still use the skills of your old profession in PvP (ie. do they remain unlocked)? Thanks in advance

they just get taken outa your skill bar and you have blanks to fill in.

yeah you keep your old skills you keep everything. there is basically no penalty to switching at all.

you also get your attribute points back from your secondary so a good trick to save refund points is to swap professions then go back and you can use your points for whatever afterwards.
