I was running the normal Prot Bond Build. Changed some things around, works pretty damned good. Oddly, I deal with Devourers when doing griffons much better than I used to, dunno why.

+5 energy head (not needed really)
19% enchanting wrapping (helps lots)
5 sup runes, tattoos.
Stats (including rune goodness)

smiting 12

symbol of wrath

throw up balth spirit, essence, divine boon and recharge.
throw up prot spirit, gather 2 groups of mobs (optimal number with this build is about 8 for griffs/ minos, hydras its 5 (because of knockdown))
Before they converge, hit channeling.
hit zealots first to get some health
hit divine/prot spirit as needed to recharge
hit balths aura as able
HIT PROT SPIRIT BEFORE YOU NEED IT, ALWAYS ( you will forget otherwise, and die when it runs out).
Use symbol of wrath to finish off stragglers.
Note against hydras -- Aggro the mobs simultaneously if you can. hit prot spirit--divine during the initial round of 2 knockdowns, then baths aura, then symbol (timing is important so you dont get knocked while doing symbol, you will die). One full balths aura/symbol will kill hydras with the attendant zealots goodness.
