a while ago, my forum name*under it* said quiet traveler, then it was citizen and some other stuff. now its professor, what is this anyways?, why does the thing under my name keep changing?

It's based on the number of posts you've made. The more you make, the "higher" your forum rank.

It's just a title that changes with your postcount. Most forums have these titles.
