Imo thats pretty equal to -5energy in terms of axe user its pretty stupid to get -10 as a penelty with axe since most of your skills are adreneline based from a person who was gonna buy this axe to use(because they know whats best for them)

it should be around 100k+ maybe since its perfect

no... not at all... if you run adrenaline builds... go pure warrior for strength, ya only need like... 5-10 energy every so often for stances..

thats what i do, i have a 15% always pickaxe unconditional... however i still dont use any energy skills aside from a couple stances here and there...

I have the 15% always -10AR version of this axe. Currently it is Zealous with a 19% enchanting grip. I bought it for 40K as an investment and personally like the -AR penalty when I run Always dmg weapons. I have found that you wil always have some people saying that the penalty on your Always dmg weapon is the "worst" one.

My opinion: The indiputable worst one is energy degeneration. Seriously, that's rough, because it drastically reduces your build options and is far, far more painful than just reducing your energy by 5 but letting it regenerate normally. Next to it is probably health degeneration, but that is minor in comparison. -10 armor is also terrible, as you are regularly attacking (a +5 armor upgrade is arguably the best upgrade in the game, and here you are giving up twice that). The best penalty is -5 energy, as you can adapt to that and as long as your regeneration is consistent, you can still trigger energy skills just as frequently once the battle has been going for a little bit.

I absolutely agree...I have a +14% dmg -5 energy axe as my "baby" and absolutely love it. I only equip 2 energy-based skills at a time to compensate for it - Sprint and either Power Attack (since I'm primarily Strength based) or Endure Pain (for PvE soloing).

I also found that having Gladiator's Armor works perfectly with the -5 energy penalty...they offset each other directly with just the Hauberk and Leggings.

It's funny how it works out:

-10 armor (while attacking) with Platemail provides you an 80 AL with +10 armor vs. physical

-5 energy with Gladiators provides you an 80 AL with +20 vs. physical

And both give you the same energy level.

Actually the energy -1 equals to 1 point of energy regeneration less. Its not degeneration like health (with vampiric weapons). While i think that the fixed -5 energy is the best mod i value this axe quite some.

I must know if its gold and I would like to see it in game too (IGN Bara Test)
