WTS ubar 1336 guld w/ caps!
I wish they had an automatic filter - if the person is dumber than the average horse, their messages are automatically blocked. Of course, then every town would seem like a ghost town...
I would like to see a reason, any reason, to go to towns other than to trade. All you ever see in towns are WTS, WTB, running to <very nearby place>, and "Can someone give me X gold?"
Your top 3 Ideas for the Gw Expansion!!

Etc etc) Two handed swords/axes (these would leech off sword/axe skills and attrib and would do more dmg eg two handed axe is 8-32 two handed sword 16-26, so you do more dmg but the downside is... :-o no shield (their attack rate would also be slowed to NOT as slow as hammer, but NOT as fast as regular sword/axe) Wielding two weapons (you may wield two weapons (axes for example) however do NOT allow uprade stacking, so if u have axe A 6-28 +21 HP and axe B 6-28 +24 HP you DONT get +45 HP, you only get to use the mods on the axe in your right hand. the bonus is u do more dmg, but dont have a shield and so take more dmg yourself. New weapons: Ranger - two handed crossbow (faster fire rate, reduced range, reduced max dmg to 14-26) Warrior - Staff/Spear handles like a hammer, SLOW, but unlike hammer you can wield a shield, the spear would have 14-27 dmg so it's more of a defence weapon. these are all my ideas, obviously if implemented youd have to play test them to balance them out etc. |
Only problem here Crossbows fire slower but the bolt travels faster so Maybe extra damage slower fire rate but bolt travels 2x faster.

* more hud functionality:
** Being able to add people to my party without searching for their names or cycling through them.
** being able to send them a message without doing the above.
** sending infos like selected quest or item info to other players like wow has.
** more info about your guild mates from the guild window (like position)
* more guild hall functionality (I think I have been there only once! and I am the leader :-\ )
** guildstorage
** extended message capability
* more item features. iirc currently you can only have a +xx% to [something]. But you can get such a weapon in yak from the get-go (still using 3 of my weapons from there)
Maybe make it that the tougher the monster, the greater chance of additional boni.

#2 PvP&PvE hybrid Modes such as DoTA, Galadiator, Defend city raids etc.
#3 Guildhalls updates
before the next charapter ships, I am looking for
- observer mode
- guild merges/umbrella guilds
- inner guild practice area
- improvement to the group searching/making system

1) 1v1 in Guild Hall so you can test out/practice your skills against your fellow guild members, maybe even have the ability to invite people into your guild hall to go against them individually (ex: if someone keeps telling you how uber leet they are you can invite them to your guild hall and tell them if you win they can never use those words again ;0)
2) make an area only accessible through your guild hall to a market/town area that only people with guild halls can get to where it is primarily used for buying and selling items and have merchants there with certain items for sale that you cannot get elsewhere (like take black and silver dye away from all other dye traders and only have available for purchase there, and unique looking armor/weapons that are only available there).
3) Instead of using PvE as precursor to PvP, why not have certain rewards/items for winning in PvP that you can use with your PvE character, for example if you win 10 times in a row each member of your team gets 1 Ectoplasm, and after you kill the other teams last character one random unidentified item drops that goes to one member of your team.

I would like to see more mission variation. For example, it'd be interesting to have missions that requires the group to split into two, each completing an objective. Another possibility is multipart missions, with stops in between at towns that you can't teleport to. That allows for longer missions, as teams can fill in holes left by departed players.
As long as Anet adds as much content as they have stated they will be, I doubt I will be unhappy with what arrives. That being said, I do have a few things that I would like:
1. I really, really like the idea of fighting hordes of char/any other type of monster, in my guild hall. I have no particular interest in rankings/reward systems associated with such an idea, I just like the idea of standing back to back with my guild mates defending our hard earned guild hall.
2. Auction house, yeah been said before and all reasons why covered, nothing more to say.
3. More customisable variety, as in faces, bodys, armour, dyes, etc. Lets make our characters a bit more unique.
Anyway, those are my quick of the top of my head in the midst of work thoughts.

Hmmm... something to think about, truthfully, but my top 3 "additions" to the expansion would be:
1. New classes - this is a VERY important thing to me - new classes would make the game interesting for veterans that have beat the game many times over, for new players intersted in a different style of play, and even for someone like me, who like to freelance, so to speak, trying out different characters and having some fun
This, of course, takes into mind a whole plethora of new skills
2. Small details that have been mentioned before, such as different races (specifically for appearance, but with their own characteristics, things would REALLY get interesting) new, useful emotes, like the "/search" one that was suggested, and perhaps some interesting Guild additions.
3. Lastly, and probably the one that's going to get the MOST controversy: A higher level cap: Why create a whole new adventure, a whole new epic, a whole new WORLD, even, for the characters if they may not advance? I know it is an interesting thing to explore and whatnot, but with higher level caps, maybe ones that can only be acessed after a certain mission, the characters could really GAIN something from their new adventures
And as a side note: Apparently, some of your comments are already in the heads of A. Net: The one with the Guild location, ect. in guild window has been mentioned, among quite a few others, in an interview concerning the future of GW quite a while back, I believe

I'd like to see pvp battles that are effectively sieges on a castle or somesuch...basically a guild defends the castle, using catapults, draw bridges and all that good stuff. Two other guilds try and break there way in. Winner stays on to defend the castle awaiting the next two guilds to come and invade. A little bit like a pvp version of Thunderhead Keep. Would be awesome if the defending team each had a Titan pet as well, or maybe a single dragon flying overhead to assist defence.
Well something creative like this anyway in pvp.
