Please teach me how the guild rating system works
conker
ive been doing regular gvgs and we usually end up doing better everyday.. first day we gvg'd, we lost 2 and won once, next, lost 3, won once, so we were 2-5, and then next time we won 4 and lost 1 and then 3 won 1 loss 1 win 1 loss and so on.. my question is how come idont get +25-30 rating every time we win (sometimes we get 10, sometimes we get 33) or why dont we lost like 20-30 every time we lose. (we've llost 1 rating in 1 loss before)... is there a reason why im not gainign as much rating or losing as much?

This is just information that Ihave managed to put together from scouring forums and my limited personal experience, so don't take it as gospel, but, here goes anyway
The rating changes are based on the rating of your opponent and how it relates to your own guild. If you beat a guild with a higher rating, you gain more points than if you beat one with a lower rating. Ibelieve this is on a scale as well. Beating a guild rated much higher than yours will result in a larger increase than a guild ranked only slightly higher.
When you lose to a team ranked higher than you, there is a small change to your rating. The opposite is true as well. If you lose to a guild ranked lower than you, you will lose more points.
So... it all depends on the quality of the opposition.
I hope this helps.
