how do they know that we have an guildwars account?

Quote:
In addition, DirectSong will simultaneously release new music for Sorrow’s Furnace. DirectSong, the world's first official music expansion service, will offer a Sorrow's Furnace music Mini-Pak free of charge to all Guild Wars account holders who register at their website: www.directsong.com. The Mini-Pak also features a preview of Guild Wars Battle Pak
Do we need to sign up with the e-mail that we use ingame? And how will this affect @plaync people?

Go to their site, and register. Then you'll go to the products section which when Sorrow's Furnace comes out there should be an option to download that music free of charge. I'm also assuming it'll extract to your GW folder and magically incorperate itself into the new areas.

The account you used for GW should not matter for Direct Song as far as logging in. They are two seperate things.

Sorrows Furnace isn't released yet. So I don't think it will work.

The Guild Wars website doesn't say anything about it not being available until Sorrow's Furnace comes out.

Music is pretty good, all the better for being free though. Although I do think he (Jeremy Soule) may suffer from over exposure soon as I note he has also done the music for Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War and Dungeon Siege 2 - both of which I got the other week...

Yeah - I can clearly hear some motives being repeated in the various tracks in different games with just a slight variation to the overall sound.

I don't think he'll ever make music as good as in Total Annihilation - although we have to wait for Supreme Commander which will yet again feature Jeremy Soule's music. =)
