increase in dye drops???

I just went back to farming the level 24 trolls outside of droknars for skill points and on my first run I got two red dyes and a purple dye..... and I have also noticed that some of the more common dyes have bottomed out in price... think Anet increased dye drops? Anyone else have similar experiances with dye drop rates?

Quick UW Trapper run last night (I so enjoy those...) I saw two dye drops and managed to get two ecto drops for myself.

Anyone else notice that the economy seems to have stabilized nicely as well?

I've spotted one or two places that always seem to drop a dye roughly 30%-50% of the time when I go there, but this is out of about 10 times. I'm not going to say the location, but it's fairly low level and a bit out of the way, which is why I don't visit as much...

....and let's be honest, it's great that the price of dye has stabilised. It's more of an extravagance once again rather than some tradeable commodity, and I'm sure that there are easier and quicker ways of making money than standing in LA or Ascalon shouting "WTS" every time you get a dye drop.

I don't see the fascination in it myself when it's a bit easier and more fun to go into mid level areas solo, or with a healer and make more money in minutes.

the common dyes imo should be dropping as often as common materials do... the only rare dyes are white silver(going out of style) and black...

silver could be added to the list to drop more frequently probably due to it looking like gray dye avaialbe for 50g at any merchant

black and white should prob stay at the same rate or incresed to drop as frequently as golds do...

I've had blue/purple and a brown today...mind you that is my first dye drop since I got 2 whites and a black on the opening day of NF.

I don`t know if there has been an increase in drops, Seems pretty normal to me. Farming I usually pick up 1 to 3 dyes a day. As I`m sure you`ll agree it`s nothing to get too worked up about. Especially since they are usually purple or yellow.

But in Pre last week while I was farming, I had 2 white dyes drop within 30 seconds of each other . Very surprising. I was stoked.

I have been playing for 6 months now and have only ever had 1 black dye drop.

Can`t colour my monks armor until I have 5 and there is no way I`m buying them. Uhh uh. No Way. Not until hell freezes over and then some.

It is really nice when you hear that little liquid sound and then thunk as your dye drops onto the ground. For sound value dye is one of the best things to get. Of course the colour gold or green always brings a smile to my face.
