The whole goal in this build is to make ranger/warrior interrupters useless...

Me/N
(i'll post skills later, but its spread between inspiration, domi, and curses with some in fast cast...forgot exactly what it was :P )

1. Spirit shackles
2. Mind wrack
3. Faintheartedness
4. Enfeeble
5. Drain Enchantment
6. Energy Drain {E} (energy management/to activate mind wrack)
7. Mantra of Resolve
8. Res Sig/Energy burn/Ether Feast

I've tested a similar build in comp arena and it doesn't work too badly...i originally was making an anti-war build but interrupters were owning me...then i realized with a couple skill changes i could make it a more useful anti-interrupt build...this is a rough build that im only lacking a couple skills to complete, but the basic plan is to cast the first 3 skills in a row, on the most rangers as possible, and then turn on the warriors.

Heres my current idea change: i could drop domi and mind wrack all together and pick up illusion magic instead for soothing images and imagined burden or ethereal burden.

Anyone else have any ideas? maybe a better way to integrate necro skills in this...or maybe a better secondary?

So this is just an anti-melee build with mantra of resolve thrown in there then? Ok, well first of all, take out mind wrack please. It's a bad skill, espeically in your build where the goal is to disable melee'ers, not do damage.

Shadow of fear > faintheardedness. With shadow of fear you probably don't even need enfeeble, in fact you probably don't need enfeeble anyways. Put spirit shackles on any rangers and shadow of fear on any one warrior, enfeeble isn't necessary.

I'd bring rend enchantments over drain enchantment, you already have an energy management skill, and rend will be alot more effective.

For the whole focus of your build, you don't need to build it JUST for anti-melee, 1 or 2 skills will be sufficient. That will allow you to build something more effective, like energy denial. Use your two anti-melee skills then go to work on their casters.

if you're going against warrior aswel, might want to put Soothing images in there aswel, no adrenaline is no interrupt with disrupting chop

maybe instead of energy drain you should just use signet of midnight or something, or ineptitude
Signet of Midnight+Plague sending/plague touch=double the blindness

Conditions don't work for shutdown. Too easy to remove.

Shadow of Fear costs the same, is AOE and lasts longer... 40 seconds is incredible. Wait until all the warriors group up around their target, then cast that bad boy and their effectiveness is halved for a long long time. Plus with the mana and time you save from it (longer duration, AOE) you can cast a bunch of other fun skills.

If you want to get warrior trains off you, [when there's 2 warriors, there's a good chance they'll both jump on your ass] then you WANT Shadow of Fear + Enfeebling Blood. This will effectively reduce their damage to crap, give them both a hex and a condition to tangle with, and allow you to tank them if they're dumb. Since there's no longer an AoE hex killer, Shadow works well. If conditions get removed, so what? If you nail their monk's condition remover with something, they're weak for 15+ seconds. Not effective you say?

Any Mes/Nec with curses needs at the bare minimum Shadow of Fear. My mes/nec uses 3 energy stealing skills and feeds the energy stolen to Shadow of Fear and Enfeeble or Enfeebling Blood. A good engine to hamper an entire team or at least most of it.

enfeebling blood is horrible compared to enfeeble. The cooldown on enfeeble is enough to make it do what you want, good warriors don't clump on targets anyways.

its actually 10 mana, but i get your point...i tested this a bit in random arena today but i never really got a good group...it seemed to shut down wars for anything but they're regular (slow) attacks...though throwing a blinding skill in there would be nice

or sympathetic visage might be interesting too...
