WTB: 16A +30 (Always)/+45HP & -2 (Stance) STRENGTH Req. Shield

I don't think youll find one, they are very rare and cost a shitload of money.

I am positive that you won't find a +45 in a stance -2 damage in stance STRENGTH shield because they simply don't exist. Trust me on this, it is impossible under the current system to have that kind of shield. So you need to focus on a +30/-2 in stance strength shield, because, while extremely rare, it is possible.

I actually have a +43/-2 while enchanted STRENGTH shield that I'm very content with...I think there's less than 50 of them out there with over +40 and -2 either enchanted or in stance due to their almost infinitely rare drops.

Oh, there are lots that are +45 enchanted strength, but what is absolutely impossible under the current game mechanics is +45 STANCE and STRENGTH.

That's really interesting...I know I've seen +45 enchanted/-2 in stance before in a STR shield...didn't know that the flip would be that rare.

If you want to try a fun challenge, Jetdoc, see if you can find absolutely any shield anywhere in the guild wars world with a health bonus in a stance condition of anywhere in the range of 31-44.

I guess I got lucky I was able to purchase a Tower Shield max armor req.8 strength +42, receive damage -1 enchanted last night from a friend. Is there a big difference between a -1 and -2 receive damage in actual game play?

Yep - it's the difference between your shield not having any damage reduction and the -1.

Over +40 and anything less than -2 ench is fairly common...

And thanks for the mini-quest, LBS...I'll be looking out for one, either Tactics or Strength based. I guess the collector's shield makes it rather moot if it's not Strength based...

I don't think the possible mods are different for a Strength or Tactics Req. Shield. I'm pretty sure I've seen a Defender with +Life/-2(Stance).

The shield doesn't HAVE to be +45 (Stance), but somewhere in the ballpark. Say, 35+ or something.

Also, there is a PVP Tower Shield with +45/-2 (Stance)

Plus 35 health in a stance also does not exist. Try the mini-quest I gave Jetdoc yourself, against.
