Helloes to everyones,

I would like to know the prices for each dyes since it seems that each color of dyes has different price, started playing GW yesterday so i don't know about this, and since i already found a pair i don't want to get scammed

If you're in Pre-sear, don't sell your dyes (Unless it's Orange). If you have silver or black, it's definitely worth holding on to!!


When you come to post-sear, you'll discover new merchants, such as the dye trader. She'll give you an idea over the asking price of a dye , and like Coolyguy says, you'll find one in every main city, like Ascalon, Lions Arch, Henge of Denravi, Amnoon Oasis and Droknar's Forge

Black= 6000-8500
Silver= 750-1000
Red= 250-350
Blue= 200-300
Green= 175-225
Purple= 150-200
Yellow= 100-150
Orange= 80-120

My rule of thumb is:

Add the price that you can sell it to the trader for and buy it from the trader, and divide by two.

This works well for crafting materials as well. I find that these become readily buyable and sellable at those prices.
