you know, you can use a bow and arrows, no matter what your class is....
you just dont get the same damage, i think.
and you can take ranger as a second class and still get all the fun of being a ranger. i have a necro ranger called Anita. i needed ranger for the pet, she has a conection to cats, you see. her animanl of call being a leopard, i went with ranger for a pet cat
however, by using necro runes on my armour, i can pump points into marksman and get all the killing mobs fun i want, and still get energy back from deaths with a soul reaping rune
yeah, ranger ele is a nice combo, and you wont be asked to do the juggy dance as much if your a ranger gall *grins* than if your an elementalist.
most people that like ele go for fire, though....firestorm (i htink its called) is a great one to use, so long as you have some way of keeping the monsters in one spot long enough for you to cast it and them not run out of it^^
i do like the sond of killing lotsa things in one go though... hmm...
