I hav looked for a good while on the internet but i can find many stratergys for Me/E - Is this just not a good build???
I would hav thought that a primary mesmers fast casting coupled with an elementalists damage capeabilities to unleash high damage fast.
Along with this there is the way that a mesmer can use illusion magic etc to drain enemy life (imagine 'conjure phantasm' + burning...) and prevent the enemy from being able to hurt you...
i just wanna ask people what they think - is it just that no1 has tried it or am i just being stupid and would it really not work....?
Me/E - Why Are They Not a Popular Build???

Empathy, for example, teaches warriors who want to 1v1 not to in a hurry. As does a shatter enhancement for those who enjoy mending

- of course this could be turned to your advantage by being a mo/me healer so they ignore you and you heal everyone without getting hurt yourself...
I've been an Me/E since I started this game. I'm in Thunderhead now.
I havent had any problems with the build I use, so I dont see why anyone would.
Oh and to Mandy up there, we've talked about this before. You have to be kinda smart not to use Exhaustion spell after exhaustion spell. And only a stupid mesmer would use a 25 energy spell to begin with.

I used to play a Mes/Ele, but I found more and more as I got further along that I was not using the Ele skills, and relying solely on the Mes skills. So when I ascended, I changed my secondary to Mo, now I can res more that once in a mission. Still only use Mes skills other than that one. But, man, is it fun to res with fast cast, can get a whole team up before a monk blinks

Since then my elemental skills have really taken a backseat to interrupts and energy stealing. Main problem with this build is the lack of healing. Ether feast will only go so far. All other professions have better healing skills.
