Were is Master Ranger Nente?

I have searched all over those woods and cannot seem to find him they say he is high up so he can see mopre but I dont see him anywere

Are you talking about Ivor?(Sp?) If so as soon as you enter the forest from Ashford take a left. Follow the path until you see NPCs on a hill to your right. There you will find Ivor.
