Rubbies and Saphs

why is there such a huge demand for them now? what are they used for?

There is currently no use to either of them. There is such a demand for them because there is a belief that there will be an armor crafter and/or collector in Sorrow's Furnace which will use sapphires and/or rubies.

The main belief is that they are including an NPC armor crafter in the free update which will mean yet another set of armor to craft - and the rumor is that the armor will require sapphires and/or rubies.

Whether the rumors/belief is correct... *shrugs* who knows. We'll only know when Sorrows Furnace gets released and people explore the area's and find out what's there or not..

also if there is such an armor crafter, rubies/saphs would be made as drops in those areas anyways.

but again, most of the drops that arent implemented, ppl tend to save just for an occasion.

Maybe a stupid question but where can you find rubies and saphs ?

They drop randomly throughout the game. The only saph. I've ever found was from Nolani Academy long ago.
