Spell Graphics

Has anyone figured out how or if it is even possible to shut off the spell effects?I think this is one of the biggest causes of ingame lag.

the graphics effect might be on your hard drive and only a trigger signal sent to show the effect

if it were a major problem they would have delt with it

Perhaps he's not talking about internet latency, but framerate issues...

in that case he could try using the autodetect or the slider to switch from quality to fastest and see if that helps
maybe drop one screen resolution as well say from 1024 down to 800
