Can you control your pet at all as a ranger?
I'm a Mesmer/Ranger and I'm having fun with my pet cat "Bob Saget", but I can't tell him what to do. He just attacks whatever I do. But then sometimes I run away and he runs with me, other times I run away and he stays there and gets owned.
What gives?
Usually he does whatever I don't want him to do. If I've just drawn a bit too much aggro and need to back up a bit, he'll follow me instead of fighting. When we get chased by 12 mobs, I run like hell, and he'll turn around and start fighting them and die, forcing me to go back and rez him once we've ditched the mobs.
Is tehre anything we can do to control our pets? Or do they totally just dot heir own thing?
