Q1: Is there any difference between a Strider and a Moa Bird?

Q2: Moa birds look cool. But do they make good pets, like, are they good in combat, do they grow gigantic?

Best Regards, Ashleigh.

They do look cool but i think all bird-type pet do slashing damages. Also i don't think people can charm a moa bird as pet or else i would have seen hundred or more rangers with moa bird

Slashing damage is much reduced against non-fleshy foes (e.g., many undead, stone elementals, etc.).

And I believe piercing damage bypasses Ward Against Melee, while slashing damage does not.
