FoW armor of Sorrows armor?

I am just now starting to save up my 1.5 million gold for my FoW armor, or somewhere around there, and I was just wondering, would it be a waste to do it now, because I heard Sorrows Furnace will have armor just as well when it debuts September 7th, 2005. Can anybody confirm this, and would it be a waste to get 105 ectos/105 shards now, or wait until Furnace comes out to see what it offers?

why does everyone assume this? and who is spreading this misinformation? all indications are that, no, there will NOT be new armor in this update.

I'm saving my money just in case sorrows does have armor. I'd be too pissed at myself if I did spend it then there was sorrows armor.

I hope they have SF armor. As for Fissure armor, well, I like the monk, necro versions but I simply can't stand the Warrior design and I can't understand why so many people are willing to work so hard to get it.

I've been hording gold and postponing the further purchase of 15K armor for any of my 4 ascended characters. My warrior is the only one with 15K attire (platemale dyed black) but I would really like to outfit my monk (she's the earner in the family) and my elementalist (she's the looker in the family) with a 15K selection in their wardrobes. Hopefully new armor items will be available in the coming update. Even if it is horribly ugly the newness of it will certainly drive down the crafting material prices of the original designs making my purchase much more affordable.

No bonus at all, it only allows you to further personalise your character. I would never buy fissure armor, but would buy 15k ghrotto and citadel armor

Im actually saving up for new weapons that will show up. The new weapons will probably be a bit costly.

It wasnt posted in an update from the officals of GW on thier own site.

They clearly included ALL the updates for the SF and GF, and it clearly states

New Quests – Nearly two dozen new, treacherous quests offer a unique level of replayability that encourages creative thinking and rewards you for finding novel ways to complete challenges.

New Weapons – Those who seek new weapons can find them within the subterranean depths.

New Collector's Items – Sorrow's Furnace is a source of many unique new collectible items.

New Collectors – Three new collectors will be present in the Fire Island Chain, offering XP-enhancing scrolls in exchange for certain items.

costly? i for one think the new weapons will be drops from monsters, not from merchants/crafters.
