What is the oldest build you remember?

The oldest build I remember is the Minions Build, I remember I saw a video and I was like: Wow.

Crappy W/Mos ftw.
Charcoal Ann
ya the good old W/Mo Uber haxx0rz build
Asplode
Those bloody Waymoes! >:O
Aracos79
Did Whammos ever REALLY go away? For those of us who play a lot of PvE they are still a plague on our existence.
Autumn_Leaf
stupid paladin builds that people still use today.
Vermilion Okeanos
Still remember they said W/Mo was overpowered back in BWE... lol good memories...
Ultimate_Gaara
W/Mo.. most boring, old, lame, unskillful class ever.. if you want to be a paladin play wow or diablo 2...
Soul Shaker
W/Mo, easy to learn, hard to master. That's why most of 'em suck balls.
Iras K
Well, i was talking more like PvP 8 plp builds. Not solo builds :-P
Mumblyfish
Oldest useful build I can remember was N/R. Back when there was no reason to be Ranger primary (olol Stealth), and skill balance was completely out of whack. Or rather, even more out of whack. If memory serves, Barbs, Ignite Arrows, Order of Pain and Dual Shot at sufficiently high attributes would eliminate half of someone's health bar.

That's gotta be the easiest build to master there is. If you want hard, try a mesmer. Or a healer.
You know your supposed to keep your head down and heal, but your teamates are all talking about this oddball new build you're facing that nobody's ever heard of. You know you shouldn't waste time rubber necking, but you just can't help yourself. And then your guys start dropping, and it's all over, and you know deep down it's your fault.
Mario 64 Master
Hmm the oldest build I have a screenshot of is 4,945, I guess that's pretty old right.
Ensign
I remember the best build from E34E
5 Elementalist / Rangers with Tougue Biter, Energizing Winds, and Conjure Lightning
3 Elementalist / Monks with Glyph of Energy / Heal Party / Protective Spirit
Winds made everything effectively free, and Tongue Biter did max damage at interrupt speed. Plus, you know, Silencing people. Conjure Lightning smashed any Warrior who decided he wanted to play. And, of course, you have Heal Party, which had infinite range back then.
Fun times for everyone. Kinda fun to look back and see how much balance has progressed since then.
Peace,

Not kidding...changing elites can change a build entirely. Yeah, sure healers are good in PvP, but it's just not my style. I've used a preset mesmer template with empathy and a res, it's fun, but i just ain't unlocked the skills for it. It's just not my style. When i use a W/Mo, i just change elite according to what i want my role to be. THey are versatile, people just have never taken advantage of that and generally resort to healing W/Mo with a sword. Yeah, i use a sword, cos axes just have that unbalanced damage range as well as the fact that it doesn't average out to the same as a sword. Can't remember my calculations on it, but axes need to have 3 more min or max damage for me to use. It's just how you choose to play. Rangers are versatile, mesmers are too. Necros have to step away from death a bit in PvP, monks...well..always seem to be stereotyped as healers, then there's a full smiter team in HoH, so that's just stupid. Warriors...versatile depending on subclass and eles, it's just button mashing. (i'm referring more to fire than anything)
/end offtopic
Otherwise..yeah fire eles with any subclass, good 'ole W/Mo too. I ain't been around for too long, but R/Es are also common. Especially with that gay flame slinger template.

Heh, I remember tongue biter. That was the single best caster shutdown skill in the game, by far.

I remember when Ranger bow attacks did tons of damage. That was when rangers dominated the entire game. Ah those were good times.

healing hands ftw

I can play a smiter, but that's no more a Monk than a W/Mo is.
My original point is that a W/Mo cannot be considered the hardest to master. It's not even the hardest W to master. In fact I suspect you'd have a hard time finding 1% of W/Mo players who thought it was the hardest W to master.
Back to the topic: This isn't the first build, or even the most godly. But the Illus weap/hundred blades build was the first one that made me think "Oh my god, why didn't I think of that?".
