Material Stack splitting?

Anyone know how i am able to split stacks of materials.

Ex: i have 20 iron ingots and want to make it so that i have 2 stacks of 10.

they stack to about 255
to save slots you cant split them up

So what do i do if i want to trade 10 away and keep 10 for myself?

When you enter into the trade window just drag it to the trade window and then it will give you the option of how many to trade. The default is 1.

When you drop the iron into the trade screen, a little box pops up and asks how many you want to trade (very similar to when you try to sell something in a stack).
