Crafting Items

Im running a ranger/mesmer at the moment.

So ranger armor and bow's are my concern.

the key thing i want to know, and havent been able to find out, is what items are used in crafting, and what items are just for selling/equipping directly?

eg.

currently i have
31 wood
6 hide
3 cloth
1 bone
spare belt pouch (can i sell this or something?? - wont let me trade)
scroll (energy +6)
inscribed chakram (energy +6)

now i understand that anything that stacks into large piles is either for crafting or collectors. and ive kinda got the idea with regards to rangers only really needing wood, hide, cloth, bone for their armor (i hope).

but what do i need for bows? for instance is that scroll i have able to be used in crafting some special armor/wep with +6 energy? or the chakram?

what key items should i be keeping, and what should i be selling/trading?

I usually break down things like that scroll w/my ranger - it does no good when you are using a bow. As for the belt pouch, you could sell it to someone - you'll hafta drop it outside of town for them to pick up. So far mainly I have seen for the ranger armor you need hides, then there are some pieces that use hide & like 1 bolt of linen, or something else. Always seems to be a combo of hides & something else. (unless it's just hides)
