PC on Gold Staff

I'd like to get a check on the following item if anyone can help me out:

Insightful Water Staff of Blood Magic (Gold)
Energy +7
Cold Damage 8-12(req 4 water magic)
Energy +5 (insightful staff head)
Blood Magic +1 (18% chance while using skills)

I've seen the head itself priced around 50k, so I don't know if it would be more valuable to salvage the head, or leave it in the staff for a total energy bonus of +12. It seems to me that the combination of water and blood magic would make the item more difficult to sell, but maybe there's an e/n out there looking for something like this, who knows? Any help on this would be great, thanks!
