Think this is true because i was PvPn in random arena and we were up against a team with a necro in his tatoo armor. We all target him since he has lowest armor and there was no monks on their team, we couldnt even get hime to half his life he just regened it back so fast and murdered our team by himself. So this makes me think there is a invinci necro.Btw I use a flame-slinger ranger so i know i was puttn out some decent damage.

Uh, no. Necros can steal health and that stuff, it's not that hard to counter. There is no invici-anything, especially not in PvP. There's only the invincimonk, and that's for UW.

/agreed

People and their "rumors", when will it stop... simple hex removals, hex denials, spell denials, enchantment removers... no such thing as invicible anything.

"Invincimonk" is able to solo uw... as well as some other builds, still not "invincible".

...Have you looked at your own post recently?

Yeah, I've seen Necros take out someone in 1 on 1. It's possible, but they have to have like no Hex removal and be pretty new to PvP. I've done it myself, loading on the Health degen and spamming Vampiric Gaze. It was no big feat, and I know the other person was new to PvP because they were from my guild and had the game for 5 days.

Its definately not invincible, but funny to watch.

There are actually necro builds that can solo the part of UW (aatxe's, darkness, smites, coldfires).
I know someone that was a N/W doing it but he wouldn't tell me the build.
For sure there is a N/Mo build that can also, it's not as efficent at the current monk build however.
I'm pretty sure there is a E/Mo build also.
IMO any class can solo the first part of UW as long as their second class is a Monk. The monk is the most effiecent at doing it though.

Please don't send me PM's asking for the builds! =)

well I think you can mostly use the invincimonk build and adapt it to other caster builds and make that class a "invinci", so if you have a necro try it out and you might surprise yourself.

-cheers.

my friend has a monk build and it's fairly strong, not invicible, but it can still take out a lot of monsters

I have that necro build, its just purely necro skills but it steals alot of health ( -7health on one target at a time ) i think it was and if those warriors get too close you just nail em with vamp touch and unholy, the rest is fair secret but it is not invincible.
Reasons why :-

* Smiting monks absolutely nail it
* more then 2 experienced warriors with life stealing skills recharging and you're gone.

i'm fairly sure that 'invinci-necros' use Aura of the Lich and health regen spells. this gives then twice the benefit from breeze and half dmg from attacks and 1/4 dmg from sacrifice spells. also you can keep AotL up at all times. not sure if this works in UW.

If we're talking PvP I'm guessing we're talking fragility mesmers. They're N/Me's, and yes, they can spike-kill opponents one by one. They're not invincible, though, they're easier to kill than many other builds, provided you get the chance before you die. If you want to meet one, go to random arena and enter a match - it's pretty guaranteed there's at least one N/Me fragility build in the other team.

For details on this build search the builds forum for 'frag mesmer'.

Ok... lmao. This is BEAUTIFUL!
I figured it out!

it isn't quite invincible though... it's weak to remove enchantments as its VERY dependent on them.

But... its not what you'd expect! I'll come back and tell everyone if I really did figure it out after me and a few guildies rock the arena with it.

It really... REALLY... is not what you'd expect.

Bingo... I've looked and... I've found!

Let the doubters doubt. Personally... I think its a really clever combination of skills that may unjustly earn a nerf if alot of people start playing it.

So... all of us that know it... don't tell. Or if you do tell, don't tell to someone else who will tell. Try to keep it hush hush. It's just... too good to last.

Its about damn time necro's earned some love and power.
And not being so freakin dependent on corpses.

I believe the build is officially called the "27 Necro"

EDIT: and Scorpion Boys build isn't quite right.

I'll take a stab at the skills:
Aura of Lich
Blood Renewal
Plague Touch
Life Siphon
Prot Spirit
Dark Aura
Touch Agony
Balth Spirit(?)

Stats:
13 Death (Can be lowered depending on if you use DA. Just keep AotL duration high enough.)
16 Blood
8 Prot (Higher, lower, I'm not sure it matters much.)
5 Soul Reaping (Everything spare.)

Stats/Skills are a total guess since I havn't bothered making a PvP char to toy with what works best. >.>

53 health = Dark Aura. Don't spam so much you commit suicide. Dark Aura might not be worth taking; I'll not bother testing it's practical use under such circumstances.
27 health = NO Dark Aura.

All the more reason people should bring enchant removals, gets rid of those pesky smiters as well.

Actually you can spam the sacrifice spells because they are also capped by the build. Under the suggested build, all sacrifices are capped to 1 health point.

You dont need Plague Touch or Life Siphon. Blood Renewal alone is enough.

The problem with this build is ENERGY. You have to maintain AotL, PS and Blood Renewal.... and then find energy for offense.

Blood renewal duration and recharge are 10, so I'm one for having the extra life siphon buffer. It should be easy to maintain everything with Balth Aura and maybe essence.

You mean Balth Spirit? (not Balth Aura) Yea, I'm gonna try that and EB next.

I hear your point about the extra regen and LS, but Healing Breeze works better because you don't need an enemy (or corpse) to cast it.

Plague Touch is a total waste.

Plague touch stacks the degen/deep wound back on aatxes. Breeze wouldn't be useful because it's an extra attribute branch you'd have to waste points in.

If you're stuck without a hostile, blood renewal works well enough. It's just getting caught with bleeding when renewal ends. Gets a little iffy I'd think.

So it's just a variation of the 55 Monk build eh? Sounds cool, but I think the low HP ones are a bit overrated. My brother went in an all Blood Necro team into FoW, worked like a charm. Big damage, semi-spiking with Gaze, and they maintained their own HP with the life-steals.

Solewan

Yeah, it is just a variation of 105 and 55 monks. Or at least it kinda works that way... i think the combination of AotL with prot. spirit or prot. bond is far more elegant though.

Plague touch is a waste because they will give you Bleeding the next time they hit. Why waste the energy?

The build is nice because it is UTTERLY immune to damage. But very vulnerable to degen and enchantment strippers.

I think a Mo/N could do it better though because the runes work better for a Mo primary.

I think 5 eng for either 6 dmg/sec or 20% their max life is worth it. I couldn't really care about the bleeding the player would take, but anything to speed up kill time is vital for farming builds.

Mo/N wouldn't be nearly as effective actually using necro skills; it'd be better off just using the monk build.
