Selling Unidentified Rares

I think (hope) this is the right place to put this post. But I'm just curious if there is any market for unidentified rare items. I seem to see the same people in LA selling the same stuff all the time and wonder if they actually get rid of any items this way.

I'm only asking really as I seem to have no luck with them at the moment and seem to get stuck with vs hexed, health below 50 etc mods which are hard to sell. Also, how do people work out rough prices for unidentified items?

Thanks

I generally sell any unidentified item which I cannot immediately use, even if the ID-results are uber. I've sold 2 non-ID'd hammers and a staff for about 20k-30k each -- all had excellent ID-results. I hope the trend continues.

I buy uni'd items.

Just today, I found a seller with A LOT OF UNID items at Lion's Arch. He was selling bows/axes for 10k, swords for 25k and hammers/staves/offhands/wands for 8k.

I bought 3 of his staves and 5 truncheons. They weren't "godly", but one of the staff had a +29HP staff wrap. I salvaged and got the upgrade. Selling the upgrade will at least offset what I payed. Besides, i like the thrill of gambling ^_^

So yes, buying/selling unid items is viable and its getting more and more popular.

Staves are usually 10-20k. (I got it for 8k so its pretty cheap!)
The "better" staves go for more such as Fire Staff, Smiting Staff, Raven, Shadow, Ghostly.

Wands, I won't pay more than 10k. Same with offhand.

I value staves more because I can salvage upgrades.
