i think thats what the chat systems were meant to be. but i feel that the devs should focus on more important things than ingame forums. i think this site does a pretty good so i don't feel a need for an ingame forum.

As it is, yes I like the idea. It would get rid of the trade channel altogether and people could give direct feed back to Anet on their forums. People could make their guild stronger and have better announcements, and beginners would have a resource to go to. This is a great idea by itself. But in the world of Guild Wars there are other things the devs should be worrying about... not including Grenth's Footprint, but making this game actually fun to play.

Perhaps the cost of maintaining the servers would be drastically increased?
Maybe that is the reason why until now, they do not have their own official forums, instead they rely on fansite forums?
Perhaps it is to help cut down on the monthly expenses?

no, it would take a shit load of administrators to double check every post, and far too many noobs would be spamming the forums with nonsense

Id like to see a forum on Anet's site... as for ingame im not sure how it would work.. however i think Anet has too much already planned to work on something fansites can take care of...
