As far as Armor Factor goes. Which class out these I list wind up having the best AF? Necromancer, Mesmer or Monk. I am asking for higher levels so that I know for PvP. I noticed Mesmer have to use Leather and yet them seem to have the same armor as Elementalists.
Please help!!

Hiya Shadeau, I do not have the exact answer you are looking for but you might want to check out the Armour Compendium here. It seems to have a lot of information on it. Hope this helps you out some.

Pre-searing: cloth from shaman's armor drop and the glitter dust from spider webs when you use a salvage kit on them

Yes- you'll have to use a salvage kit on the drops in order to make cloth. In post-searing, you'll also find some things that occasionally drop glittering dust, and some collector items later on will salvage into glittering dust as well. You can also often get glittering dust by salvaging mesmer focuses(chakrams and chalices). Cloth is usually gained by salvaging armors, and after about 15 hours on my character in post-searing ascalon, I've ended up with somewhere around 50 cloth just from salvaging armors.
